Are you the kind of person who builds trust with everyone you work with? Do you naturally coach, motivate, and bring out the best in the people around you? Are you fired up, leaning forward, and ready to Get Stuff Done?
Agile Homes is looking for a Residential Construction Superintendent to manage production homes, ensure they are built efficiently, on schedule, and to our high-quality standards. But here is what really sets this role apart: the person we hire will be a relationship builder first. You will be the face of Agile Homes on the job site, the person our clients trust, our trade partners want to work with, and our team rallies around.
Agile Homes is a privately-owned builder based in Fruitland, Idaho. We are a family-oriented company dedicated to being the builder of choice for home buyers, trade partners, and employees alike.
No superintendent experience? No problem. We will train the right person on construction processes, scheduling, and quality standards. What we cannot teach is how to genuinely connect with people, earn their respect, and hold everyone accountable with a coaching mindset. That is what we are hiring for.
What We're Looking For:
As a Superintendent, you will be the hub of communication and accountability on every home you manage. You will coach trade partners toward consistent quality, guide clients through the construction of their home, and keep the internal team aligned. We are looking for someone who is:
- A Relationship Builder. You earn trust quickly with clients, trade partners, suppliers, and teammates. People want to work with you and for you.
- A Coach. You hold people to a high standard without burning bridges. You give direct feedback, follow up, and help the people around you get better.
- Organized and Process-Oriented. You follow established workflows, stay on top of details, and adapt when things change.
- A Proactive Problem-Solver. You see issues coming and address them before they become problems.
- A Strong Communicator. You keep clients informed, coordinate with trades and suppliers, and close the loop with the internal team.
- Quality-Driven. You take pride in the finished product and hold every job to the same standard.
- Willing to Learn. You are eager to develop new skills and grow with the company.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- People Skills Above All: A track record of building strong working relationships, whether in construction, sales, management, coaching, military leadership, or another field where results depend on how well you work with others.
- Construction experience is a plus but not required. We will train the right person on our systems and processes.
- Fired Up: You fully embrace the GSD (Get Stuff Done) mindset. You take initiative, tackle challenges head-on, and see tasks through to completion. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are always ready to jump in.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative in solving problems.
- Time Management: Able to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently and meet deadlines while receiving and prioritizing work from multiple members of the team.
- Team Player: Willing to tackle anything that needs done to move the company forward.
Key Responsibilities:
